FAQs

Frequently asked questions, and their answers...

What time can we arrive at the villa?

Check-in time is 3.00pm (afternoon). We can be flexible on check-in time unless there are guests checking out on your arrival day. If you’d like a guaranteed early check-in, we can usually block the previous night and the fee for this is 50% of the daily rate.

What time time do we have to leave the villa?

Checkout time is 11.00am (morning). We can be flexible on this unless there are guests arriving on your checkout day. If you’d like a guaranteed late check-out, we can block the following night and the fee for this is 50% of the daily rate.

Do you include airport transfer?

Airport transfers are not included but we can arrange any transfers you need. The daytime rate is usually THB1,000 from the airport for a van for up to 10 guests (plus luggage).

Can we ask the driver to stop on the way from the airport to shop?

Yes. We prefer to know in advance where you’d like to stop (i.e. big supermarket or small convenience store) so that the driver can be prepared. There will be a small supplement for stops of more than 15 minutes.

Can you arrange a chef to cook for us?

We can usually arrange chef services for any days that you’d like. The cost for the chef is THB2,500 for up to 8 guests and THB3,000 for 9 guests or more. This includes shopping, preparation, serving and clearing up. Ingredients are charged separately.

How do we order our meals?

Our chefs are very accommodating and will generally cook whatever dishes you ask for. Their expertise is in Thai cooking but they can prepare a much broader range of dishes. We also provide a list of dishes for you to choose from if you need some ideas. If you book the chef, it’s best to request the dishes for your first day in advance and you can then discuss with the chef what you’d like to eat on a day to day basis.

Are pets allowed?

We don't usually allow guests to bring their pets. If you do have a pet you’d like to bring, please discuss this with us before confirming your booking.

Can we have our wedding ceremony or wedding reception at the villa?

Yes, if you're already staying at the villa for a few nights, but there are limits to how many people should be at the villa. Submit your reservation enquiry and we can discuss in detail to see if we can accept and agree.

Do the bedrooms have in-room safes / deposit boxes?

The master bedroom has an in-room safe / deposit box. Other bedrooms do not.

Is the villa wheelchair and/or elderly friendly?

The main living floor is on the upper ground level that’s accessed with a flight of stairs. Once on that level, the poolside bedroom/bathroom is easily accessible (2 steps down).

What’s the best way to get around?

There are plenty of local taxis and we recommend the neighbour’s taxi service. He can help with anything from a short run to the shops, a night on the town to a day trip round the island. He gives priority to our guests so there's no need to book in advance; it's like having a van with driver at your service throughout your stay but you just pay for any trips you make.

There’s no real public transport in Phuket. It’s possible to rent a car, motorbike or cycle but it’s worth keeping in mind that the accident rate in Phuket is extraordinarily high.

Can we pre-order some groceries before arrival?

We can provide this service although recommend stopping at a supermarket or convenience store on the way from airport so that you can choose the quality/brands that suit you best.

What other services can you provide?

Khun Pond, our villa manager is only too happy to help with any requests you might have. Most things can be arranged once you’re in Phuket (e.g. massage service) but it helps to provide some advance for some services (e.g. nanny or baby sitter).
